Political Correctness and Personal Freedom

Voltaire once said “I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.” As he was defending the right of free speech for everybody, Voltaire (1694-1778) was verbalizing the principle that no government, person, or group has the right to control what we say.

Born an Englishman, George Orwell had knowledge of the [Socialist] Fabian Society that had taken root in England in the late 1800’s. In 1949 Orwell wrote his famous book “1984” that depicted, among other things, “political correctness” run amuck, where the dictionary had been reduced down to a few pages of words the population could use without getting arrested. This concept was devised by people who wanted to mask the ugly truth about their ambitions to subjugate societies to their will. Using misleading terminology like social justice, human rights, equality, and solidarity, the Socialists attracted followers that believed in an egalitarian society where everyone was equal. Since people of that day generally believed that everyone was equal in the eyes of God, the Socialists removed God from the equation and inserted themselves as the arbiters of right and wrong. With this paradigm shift of power from God to Socialism, they began deciding who had the right to live in the society they were creating.

Fabian Society member George Bernard Shaw promoted the idea of killing  undesirables as an act to cleanse society’s gene pool. This concept, commonly known as “eugenics”, had many intellectuals as followers. One of these so called intellectuals was Margaret Sanger.

Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood in 1916, wanted to eradicate Black people from American society, so she devised the plan to implement birth control among American Blacks to keep them from reproducing. In this application of Political Correctness, notice that “Planned Parenthood” sounds much better than black genocide.

Since intellectuals are convinced that they are more intelligent and better educated than “common folk” they also believe they should be in charge of making decisions for them. Out of this fertilizer came the thorn of Fabian Socialism.

When masking your true intentions for the destiny of mankind, you need to gag the mouths of those who see through your B.S. The first step is to demonize other points of view, calling them racist, sexist, homophobic, and worse. After this tactic begins to work, and when you have enough votes in Congress, you pass laws making it a felony to utter certain words. Afterwards, anyone opposed to what you are doing can be put in jail.

Welcome to “Political Correctness”.

Today the culture of Political Correctness has turned society on its head. It is a disease of thinking that constantly contradicts itself. This is because it is used to avoid discussing issues on their own merit. If you are cornered by a question that would expose you for the charlatan that you are, simply claim that the question is “racist”, ending the discussion. The pervasive use of this non sequitur dodge has unfortunately become commonplace and acceptable.

An application of this principle goes something like this:

A Senator wants to pass a law giving twelve million illegal aliens citizenship. This move is intended to create loyal voters for his next election. He uses the word “fairness” to disguise his intentions and appear as a “caring” politician. Should any actual American Citizen resent this flagrant move to buy votes using tax dollars he simply calls them “bigots”. This is in fact what Senator Lindsey Graham did while accepting the National Council of La Raza ‘Capitol Award’. Witness  Senator Graham exercising “Political Correctness” to silence any opposition to his smarmy attempt to stay in office.

In conclusion, the real question is whether Senator Lindsey Graham is a Fabian Socialist because he uses their inventions to silence any opposition and counter criticism of his Progressive policies.

You be the judge.

RINO – The Bain Of Political Representation

When career Politicians run for re-election, doesn’t it remind you of Albert Einstein’s quote about “insanity”?

Quote: Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Every election season we get regaled with the same lies and misconceptions, packaged in sound bites for public consumption. As Politicians largely believe we are “stupid” and are not paying attention [see the website for links], they pour tens of millions of dollars into ads, trotting out the same time worn garbage to get elected. In the past when we got sick of this mind-numbing diatribe we switched off the TV/radio in disgust. To make matters worse, we stayed home rather than voting, believing that the next Senator would be much the same as the last.

Before the Socialists became a powerhouse in our national government, things didn’t get so bad that we feared for our jobs, our Constitution, our money, our way of life, and the ultimate destination of The United States of America. Today that is not true, and worse most people believe that the “American Dream” is dead.

Well, it looks like the days of spectating from the sidelines is over. Over, that is, if you don’t mind having your income given to someone that you don’t even know, provided that you are even employed.

The ‘Progressive’ Left [read Socialist] has for the past 50+ years wormed their way into the nerve system of American Government with the intent of ‘Changing’ it from a “Representative Republic” to a “Socialist State”.

Back in Bill Ayers terrorist days, blowing up a few Government buildings was a means to this end. When it finally dawned on the ‘subversive activists’ that carnage was making them more enemies than friends they changed their tactics. So changing tactics, the “activists” assaulted education, religion, mass media, journalism, and the courts in an effort to destroy American ideals. They took pointers from Communist play books like “Rules for Radicals” by Communist Saul Alinsky, who stated that the best system for opposing The United States had already been established by the Communist Soviet Union. As Christ said, “For you always have the poor with you”, old Saul found a ready army of people hungry for things they didn’t have. Using that hunger and the knowledge that poor people had little to lose, Alinsky became a “community organizer” with a Progressive mission. All he needed to do now was give the poor the tools to take wealth from those better off financially. First try at the ballot box, and if that failed, start a riot.

Well, the politicians needed votes to stay in their plush offices in Washington D.C., not to mention being treated as “Perfumed Princes” by the public, so deception became the name of the game. Telling constituents that they were working hard for them, politicians were working quietly in the background, undermining our freedoms by passing laws to buy poor people’s votes with our own tax money.

With all the under the table deals, midnight secret meetings, graft, payola, and closed door meetings, Washington D.C. became a ripe venue for political corruption.

Politicians soon learned to use ‘sound-bite’ commercials portraying themselves as champions of the “downtrodden masses”. Making promises that by passing the bills they sponsored, they would end poverty in this country. Well that worked out, didn’t it?

Then 2008 happened.

When the voters woke up and started listening, they found that their old buddy Politicians, like Senator Lindsey Graham were playing them for fools.

Listening to Senator Graham constantly claiming to be a “Conservative” should tell you something is wrong. Senator Graham’s legislative activities and friends were anything but conservative. Simply put, this is lip service designed to keep his seat in Washington.

Well, Senator Graham is coming up for election in 2014, and Conservatives in South Carolina will be up to speed for his defeat in that election. To stay informed and up-to-date, click on the links to other Conservative websites. There is a building alliance of like minded American Conservatives working hard to give you the information you need to make the right decision. When Graham faces reelection again, it will be the preponderance of evidence against this RINO that makes him a private citizen once more.

Weaponized Arrogance

Has anyone noticed that when a lawyer gets to Washington, they instantly know “everything” and have become an authority on what is good for the “common folk”? This scenario has been repeated so often that it is barely noticed anymore. Matter of fact, we have actually come to expect the people we vote for to climb up on the nearest chair to begin looking down their noses at us.

Congress is chock-full of these “genius politicians” who make critical decisions everyday that could result in nuclear war, or worse. [Worse meaning: a laboratory generated virus that kills the entire human race over an agonizing period of years.]

Do these politicians take these responsibilities seriously? Yes.

Do they have the expertise or education to know what they are talking about? In almost all cases, no.

Example: Has anyone reading this article ever called a politician to help them balance their checkbook?

The evidence of this is clear when you ask the simple question: Has anyone ever heard a politician say “I don’t know”? You can probably count on one hand [with the fingers missing] the number of times you have heard a politician say “I don’t know”.

So pervasive is the arrogance among the “perfumed Princes and Princesses” of Washington that it has even spread to the thousands of people working for them. Should you be running low on “attitude” one day, call one of the seven offices Senator Graham maintains and talk to the first person that answers the phone. Say something like, “I resent Graham’s nomination of Radical Progressive Sonia Sotomayor to the Supreme Court”. Now, brace yourself for the political drone’s snarky response.

A poignant example of this superior attitude follows:

Richard Quinn, a South Carolina “strategist” for John McCain’s 2000 campaign and Senator Lindsey Graham’s political consultant, had some choice words for anyone who objected to Graham confirmation of Elena Kagan to the Supreme Court. Quinn called Graham a “thinking person’s conservative” and said he expected Graham would do well with voters who have “triple-digit IQs”.

Yup, that’s right, if you don’t get what Senator Graham is doing, turn yourself in at the nearest school for the mentally challenged. Hey, South Carolinians are just a bunch of redneck rubes, what do you expect?

Senator Graham’s best buddy and bill supporting partner, Senator John Kerry, has the same disease. Senator Kerry announced that voters that do not support Democrats are “stupid”.

The standard epithet used against voters is “stupid”, but the truth be known, it is more like “complacent”. We keep putting these egregiously arrogant people back in office when they should have never served a second term. What is obvious is that after a while they come to believe the feces they keep trying to feed us.

So protect yourself and remember the watchword; Question Authority!

Stay tuned for “An ounce of pretension is worth a pound of manure” coming to a blog near you.

Politics and the Death of Sentient Beings

Humans are said to be self-aware. We inherently understand the concept of “cause and effect” where we know the actions we take will have either a beneficial effect, a harmful effect, or no effect at all on other people. Usually described by the term “conscience”, there is a small voice that is supposed to tell us when we have done something wrong. The conscience we possess is nurtured and reinforced by our parents (if the parents are doing their job) so by the time we become adults, it becomes the compass that guides us through life.

Some humans are devoid of a conscience and others perceive having one is an impediment to their goals. Let’s look at two of these personality disorders to better understand how they manifest themselves.

The first one is the “psychopath”. This personality type is highly misunderstood because of it’s ability to mask itself by being “Charming but Callous”. The following excerpt comes from the Scientific American article “What Psychopath Means”:

Superficially charming, psychopaths tend to make a good first impression on others and often strike observers as remarkably normal. Yet they are self-centered, dishonest and undependable, and at times they engage in irresponsible behavior for no apparent reason other than the sheer fun of it. Largely devoid of guilt, empathy and love, they have casual and callous interpersonal and romantic relationships. Psychopaths routinely offer excuses for their reckless and often outrageous actions, placing blame on others instead. They rarely learn from their mistakes or benefit from negative feedback, and they have difficulty inhibiting their impulses.

Next let’s look at the “sociopath”. A person with this disorder comprises about 4 percent of the population and is said to be devoid of a conscience. The next excerpt comes from the Psychology Today article “Your Conscience, the Sociopath’s Weapon of Choice”:

Dr. Stout begins by asking the reader to imagine a world where they have no conscience thereby freeing them from, among other downers, guilt, shame, remorse and concern for others. She then asks the reader to imagine, if they were able to conceal this psychological flaw from others, how they might live. They would, after all, be free to seek all the power, money and influence they desired, in the quickest, crudest and most ruthless way without the nagging burden of doing what is right. Or, maybe, Dr. Stout says, you are not ambitious, but seek only to relax and live as carefree as possible from the goodwill of others. Without conscience, you would be free from the guilt and shame that traditionally comes from being a freeloader.

Another way of looking at the sociopath is that when you remove the empathy from a narcissist, you have a sociopath.

Everyone can easily identify a “selfish” person,  but psychopathy and sociopathy go way beyond selfishness. Their devious nature allows them to inflict grievous harm while at the same time giving the impression that they are everybody’s friend.

Remember, these personalities often gravitate to positions of power. Power provides them with the victims and self-esteem they need. Should their abuses become known, they start blaming others. Being smooth and charming they often get away without being recognized for who they really are. With politicians, a common ruse is to blame rich people for the problems they create. Having the establishment media vilifying the wealthy on a regular basis, their argument seems plausible. But wealth is nothing when compared to power. With wealth you can buy almost anything you want. With power you to incarcerate and exterminate people with impunity.

If you have trouble understanding these personality types then you would probably be called “normal”. It is interesting to note that there are virtually no books written about “normal psychology”. It is however, “abnormal psychology” that is taught in colleges and universities across the nation.

Now using this information, take a close look at our current “ruling class”, the politician. Should you be able to quiet the din of noise created by the media, contrast what they are saying against what they are doing. If these two things don’t match up, it is a real possibility you are being deceived.

One last thing to consider is that people who manipulate us do their best work in a crisis. Like a magician, they get us to concentrate on one thing while they are doing another.

Sound familiar?
